Conditions of Contract


  1. With the booking - be it online, by phone or in writing - the customer accepts these conditions of contract.
  2. Upon receipt of the deposit of 25% of the total amount on our bank account, the accommodation unit is definitely booked. The balance of 75% is to be paid 4 weeks before your arrival day 
  3. Travel cancellation:
    1. Advance payments are charged in case of travel cancellation.
    2. Cancellation charge:
      • till 45 days before start of rental:     25% of the rental price
      • 44-30 days before start of rental:     60% of the rental price
      • from 29 days before start of rental: 100% of the rental price
  4. Of course, cancellation charges are dispensed with appointing a substitute tenant for the same booking period.
  5. To protect yourself against cancellation costs in case of a sudden illness or the like, I'd recommend you to contract a travel cancellation insurance for your flight and your accommodation in your travel agency or online.
  6. Our guests themselves are responsible for their own travel-, accident- and health insurance coverage.
  7. If you cannot use the house in case of impact or damage due to an Act of God, such as earthquake, strike, war or storm, there are refunded at most 75% of the rental price.
  8. Our guests are invited to inform us immediately about defects and imperfections to enable us to correct them. Subsequent claims for damages are not accepted. The house and its equipment have to be treated carefully. Damages caused by guests have to be reported and replaced.
  9. Place of jurisdiction for claims is Arrecife.
